For people not accustomed to NFL games, most of the action takes place in fast action plays.

When coaches analyze a game, they don't watch the entire game, just these short plays where all the action takes place.

If provided with the proper play-by-play meta data, nflvid can be used to cut out an NFL game film into all of its individual plays.

By default, nflvid comes with all official game footage meta data since the 2010 season start till the 2012 season Super Bowl.

nflvid also allows developers to download official game footage, cut it and search through sliced movie pieces.

Usage instructions are included with the download package's README file.
